Cross Words: If You Have a Problem, Jesus Has a Word for That - Part 1

We keep the last words of the people we love, a saved voicemail, a sentence spoken at a bedside. Jesus pushed up on nailed feet seven times to speak from the cross, so what did he choose to say first?

In this first message, we turn to Luke 23:34. After the soldiers and the crowd had done their worst, his opening word is a prayer asking his Father to forgive them, because they do not grasp the magnitude of what is happening.

This lesson reminds us that no sin is atrocious enough to eclipse what Jesus wants for you. He could have called for judgment and instead pleaded for pardon, and the same voice that interceded from the cross still intercedes for you now. Come to the cross and hear the word he has for you.
