Assembly Required: Connecting the Empty Tomb to a Living Church - Part 6

Every yearbook has a superlative page, most likely to succeed, best hair, most athletic. We graduate and never leave that page, still curating a life that will look best, first, and most to everybody watching.

In this sixth message, we turn to Romans 12:10, where Scripture keeps the competition and changes the prize. “Outdo one another in showing honor.” The goal is not to get on the page but to put someone else there.

See the image of God in a person before you catalog the damage the enemy has done to them. Honor is more than flattery or agreement or putting up with somebody, and it costs something to hand the spotlight away. Go first. Learn a name, notice the people nobody sees, and say the good thing about someone when they are not in the room.
