Assembly Required: Connecting the Empty Tomb to a Living Church - Part 1

The box has a beautiful picture on the side, and inside there are bags of screws, panels, and dowels that look nothing like it. Nobody enjoys the picture without doing the assembly, and the same is true of what came out of the empty tomb.

In this first message of a new series, we turn to Acts 2:42-47 and Romans 6:1-11. What Jesus unboxed at the tomb keeps unboxing people at the baptistry, and Scripture never leaves those people standing alone in the parts pile.

You are already one anothering somebody. There are fifty nine one another commands in the New Testament, and every one of them requires another person, so none of them can be kept at home by yourself. Bring your part, learn to love the flawed church God loves, and let the picture on the box start showing up here.
